I don’t want to go completely plant-based. Is this program for me?


There is no need to go plant-based in the long term, however by the end of the program your mind and body will be conditioned to enjoy (and crave even!) more low-calorie, nutrient-dense plant foods which are the cornerstone of any healthy diet.


Why are so many hypnotherapy sessions included?


For most of us, our relationship to food is complex and multilayered. We use food for all sorts of reasons other than nourishment - for pleasure, enjoyment, celebration, to soothe uncomfortable feelings, and to connect with others. It is important to address all of the aspects of your psyche that may be pulling you towards choices that aren’t good for you, to allow the creation of new positive neural pathways that draw you towards a lifestyle that both nourishes you and feels amazing.


I don’t need to lose any weight. Is this a weight loss program?


The meal plan is about optimal health, rather than weight loss. That said, if you are carrying excess kilos, these will begin to naturally be released during the program. If you’re already at your ideal weight, provided you eat to your appetite, you’ll maintain your current weight, and experience other benefits such as reduced inflammation, more energy and brighter, more luminous eyes and skin.


I really want to lose weight. I’ve tried diets before, but the weight always comes back on. How is this program any different?


Diets work on the body, but not the mind. When people take a dieting approach, they often achieve results initially, and then later slide back to where they started. This is because unless the subconscious accepts and desires the new eating habits, any changes you experience will be short lived. 


Nourish Me Mindbody Mentoring works with both the mind and the body, allowing you to achieve gentle, sustainable weight loss, if that’s what your body needs, without feelings of deprivation, hunger or missing out. You walk away with a whole new mindset and lifestyle around food - one that you’ll want to maintain for the long term because it feels so good.
