By facilitating greater self knowledge, emotional acceptance and personal insight in her clients, valuable skills are gained to support the growth and maintenance of positive relationships across a range of everyday life situations.

A specialised support approach for parents and carers of children and young people, integrating positive psychology counselling methods, solution focused coaching, and mindfulness techniques to help and support parents & caregivers to consciously carry out their roles and provide calm and positive guidance for their child.

Samantha provides strategies to facilitate mindful, positive and effective communication, enhancing and strengthening positive relationships between loved ones.

In addition, by teaching parents & carers how to create deep relaxation for themselves, they gain valuable skills to help navigate the challenges of daily life with more calm and clarity, reducing stress and breaking habitual reactive patterns.

 

As a result, it becomes easier to maintain a positive mindset and approach in order to achieve behavioural goals set for their child.

EATING SUPPORT/ FOOD ACCEPTANCE COACHING

Within the context of daily life, Samantha provides support with strategies to help parents & carers create positive food relationships within the home, and increase their child's acceptance of a wider range of healthy foods.

 

Drawing on current eating psychology practices, Samantha follows the Ellyn Satter method of eating support, an evidence based model which is validated by research and employed by healthcare professionals and educators around the world.

 

Samantha draws on over a decade’s experience working with children and their parents, helping children experience nourishing food as a joy and a pleasure instead of a struggle.
